What type of accommodation packages does Blau Varadero offer?
This 4-star All-Inclusive hotel is designed to ensure that you have everything you need at your fingertips without having to worry about a thing. From the most comprehensive cuisine to a wide range of activities inside and outside the resort.
Can I bring my children?
No, Blau Varadero is an Adults-Only hotel (+18). Here the emphasis is on peace and quiet in a relaxed and restful atmosphere. A resort to unwind and pamper yourself, far from the madding crowd.
Is there free Wi-Fi in the hotel?
Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort. On arrival, please ask for details at the reception desk.
Are adjoining rooms available in the hotel?
Yes. On request. Moreover, whenever possible, we do all we can to accommodate groups in nearby rooms, for their convenience.
Can we choose our own room or the part of the hotel we would like to stay in?
Yes but always subject to availability. If you have any specific preferences, please let us know when making your booking or on arrival.
When can I check in?
You can check in from 4pm. However, if you arrive earlier than that, don’t worry! You can leave your belongings in the locker room and begin to enjoy our facilities.
Is a late check-out possible?
Yes, a late check-out is possible until 2pm or even 4pm, although always subject to availability. For more information, please enquire at reception. A late check-out involves an additional cost and will be confirmed the day before your departure.
Can change we change money in the hotel?
Yes, you can change money with total confidence at the Exchange Bureau (CADECA) without any problems.
What cards are accepted in the hotel?
At Blau Varadero we accept different types of cards, including Visa and Mastercard.
Is there an ATM in the hotel?
No, but our reception staff will be happy to tell you where there is one nearby, just a few minutes from the hotel.
Where can I park?
There is a car park beside the resort. Free of charge.
Is there a charging point for electric cars?
We do not yet have a charging point for electric cars, but our reception staff will be happy to tell you where there is one close to the hotel.
What does All-Inclusive actually include?
All-Inclusive at Blau Varadero includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks in the resort’s bars, snacks throughout the day, and access to all the resort’s facilities, activities and entertainment.
Can I book a table in the restaurant before I arrive?
Yes, you can book a table in our restaurants but only once you have checked in at the hotel. Bookings are always subject to availability.
Is food available for people with allergies or special dietary requirements?
We always endeavour to accommodate our guests’ requirements. On arrival, simply inform our reception staff of your needs, and our kitchen staff will prepare alternatives adapted to your specific dietary requirements.
What type of entertainment does the hotel provide?
The resort has a full entertainment programme that includes everything from live music to night-time shows.
What sports activities does the hotel offer?
As well as a full gym within the spa, the hotel has 2 tennis courts, a diving centre, instructor-led classes, an 18-hole golf course just 4 kilometres from the resort, and access to non-motorised water sports such as kayaking or snorkelling.
Are there hiking or cycle trails near the hotel?
Yes. The resort is right on the famous Varadero beach, one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. It is surrounded by tropical vegetation and is perfect for long walks beside the sea.
What attractions are there in the vicinity of the hotel?
The resort is located in the heart of Varadero, just 35 kilometres from the Juan Gualberto Gómez Airport. From there, you can enjoy trips to such interesting places as the Yumuri Valley, the Varahicacos Ecological Reserve, the Bay of Pigs and the Bellamar or Saturno Caves.
Can we book excursions from the hotel?
Yes, we offer several, each one a unique experience in its own right. You can visit nearby coves such as Cayo Blanco, swim with dolphins in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean or enjoy a tour of the famous House Of Rum.
Are there discos and bars close to the hotel?
We have several bars inside the resort, where you can enjoy Caribbean nightlife and Cuban music to the full. There are lots of bars, discotheques and beach bars - chiringuitos - all along the 22 kilometres of Varadero beach, where you can enjoy a mojito and immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.
What sorts of wellness services does the hotel provide?
The resort has a spa with a sauna, gym and massage cabins.
Are massages included in the All-Inclusive package?
Although the resort is an All-Inclusive resort and all our guests are welcome to use the spa, wellness treatments are provided on request and involve an extra charge.
