Can I bring my children?
Yes, Blau Las Morlas Varadero Beach is a hotel designed for everyone to enjoy: those travelling as a family with children, couples looking to relax, or groups of friends. We have plenty of areas and activities just for the little ones, such as the Mini club (4–12 years of age) with activities from 9:00am to 5:00pm, plus a large play area within the resort.
Is Wi-Fi free at the hotel?
Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort. On arrival, please ask for details at the reception desk.
Does the hotel have connecting rooms?
Yes. On request. Moreover, whenever possible, we do all we can to accommodate groups in nearby rooms, for greater convenience.
Can we choose our own room or the part of the hotel we would like to stay in?
Yes, but always subject to availability. If you have a specific preference, please let us know when making your booking, or on arrival.
When can I check in at the hotel?
Check-in is available from 3:00pm, but if you arrive earlier, don’t worry, you can leave your belongings at the luggage store and start to enjoy the hotel facilities.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 12:00am for all rooms. There is a possibility to contract Late Check-Out, subject to availability.
Is a late check-out possible?
Yes, until 2.00pm or 4.00pm, although this is always subject to availability on the day. For more information, please enquire at reception. A late check-out involves an added cost and will be confirmed the day before your departure.
Can I exchange currency at the hotel?
Please ask at reception: we will advise you on the best option available during your stay.
Which cards are accepted at the hotel?
At Blau Varadero we accept several types of cards, including Visa and Mastercard.
Is there an ATM at the hotel?
No, but our reception staff will be happy to tell you where there is one nearby, just a few minutes from the hotel.
Where can I park my car?
There is a car park beside the resort. Free of charge.
Are there EV charging points?
We do not currently have any EV charging points, but our reception team can tell you where to find the nearest ones.
Are pool and beach towels included during my stay?
Yes, your stay includes pool and beach towels.
What does All-Inclusive include?
All Inclusive at Blau Las Morlas Varadero Beach includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Coral restaurant, drinks at the various bars around the resort, snacks throughout the day, and access to all the resort facilities, as well as the entertainment activities.
Can I book a table at the restaurant before I arrive?
Yes, you can book a table but only once you have checked in at the hotel. Bookings are always subject to availability.
What kind of restaurants are at the resort?
You can enjoy 3 restaurants at the resort (El Coral buffet restaurant; Las Olas/Mylos speciality restaurants for pre-booked dinners; El Chiringuito, our beach bar with snacks and grill) and there are 4 bars (Lobby Bar ‘La Sirena’, Pool Bar ‘La Aguja’, Beach Bar ‘El Chiringuito’ and Disco Bar ‘Mambo’).
Are there options for people with allergies or special dietary requirements?
We are happy to adapt our dishes when needed. Please let reception know before your arrival and our kitchen staff will prepare alternatives to cater for any dietary requirements you may have.
Is there a drinks service at the beach?
There is no direct drinks service on the sand, but you can order your favourite cocktail at the El Chiringuito Beach Bar, just next to the sun lounger area.
What kind of entertainment is provided at the hotel?
Our family resort has a full entertainment programme for children and adults which includes everything from live music to evening shows, aquatic ballet, and magic shows.
Which sporting activities are on offer at the hotel?
As well as a full gym, Blau Las Morlas Varadero Beach offers free beach volleyball, table tennis, and non-motorised water sports. You can also hire kayaks (one or two people), water bikes, and take a trip on the Hobie Cat catamaran (added charges apply).
Are there water sports and diving lessons available?
Yes, with an added charge from collaborating external companies. You can choose from an infinite range of adventures. From internationally recognised diving courses, snorkel, dives (reef, caves, shipwrecks), nitrox and kitesurf (courses and hire).
Are there walks and cycle routes in the surrounding area?
Yes. The resort surroundings include the famous Varadero beach, the best known in Cuba and one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. It is surrounded by tropical vegetation and is perfect for long walks beside the sea.
What attractions are in the vicinity of the Blau Las Morlas?
The resort is found at the heart of Varadero, just 24,5 km from Juan Gualberto Gómez airport in Varadero. From there, you can take excursions to interesting places such as the Yumuri Valley, Varahicacos Nature Reserve, trips around the Bay of Pigs, or visit Cayo Blanco and the Saturn Caves.
Can we book excursions from the hotel?
Yes, we offer several, each one a unique experience. You can visit nearby coves such as Cayo Blanco, swim with dolphins in the clear waters of the Caribbean or enjoy a tour of the famous House of Rum.
Are there discos and bars close to the hotel?
We have several bars inside the resort, where you can enjoy Caribbean nightlife and Cuban music to the full. There are lots of bars, discotheques and beach bars – ‘chiringuitos' - all along the 22 kilometres of Varadero beach, where you can enjoy a mojito and immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.
What sorts of wellness services does the hotel provide?
The resort has a massage treatment room (charges apply) and a well-equipped gym for you to keep fit.
Are massages included in the All-Inclusive package?
Although the resort is All Inclusive, wellness treatments are only available on request and carry an extra charge.
