How to get there
Blau Arenal Habana Beach is 40 km from José Martí de Cuba International Airport. We highly recommend booking a private transfer. Please ask our Bookings team for details. However, if you prefer, you can also take a taxi (approximately 30-35 US dollars) or hire a car to visit Havana and the surrounding area at your own pace.
If you decide to hire a car at Havana airport, you should reach the hotel in less than an hour. Take the Vía Monumental going east and then follow the Vía Blanca towards Playa del Este and the hotel. Free parking is available for guests in an exclusive area beside Blau Arenal Habana.
Tourist buses connect Havana city centre with the eastern beaches, including Santa María del Mar, throughout the day. You should take the T3 bus, which departs from the Parque Central in Havana every 30 or 40 minutes.
