When can I check in?
You can check in from 2pm. However, if you arrive earlier than that, don’t worry! You can leave your belongings in the locker room and begin to enjoy our facilities..
Is a late check-out possible?
Yes, a late check-out is possible until 2pm, or even 4pm, although always subject to availability. For more information, please enquire at reception. A late check-out involves an additional cost and will be confirmed the day before your departure.

All-Inclusive at Blau Arenal Habana Beach includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks in the resort’s bars, snacks throughout the day, and access to all the resort’s facilities, activities and entertainment.
Can I book a table in the restaurant before I arrive?
There is no need to book tables in the resort’s restaurants in advance.
Is food available for people with allergies or special dietary requirements?
We always endeavour to accommodate our guests’ requirements. On arrival, simply inform our reception staff of your needs, and our kitchen staff will prepare alternatives adapted to your specific dietary requirements. Vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are also available.
What type of entertainment does the hotel provide?
The resort has a full entertainment programme that ranges from live music to night-time shows and a disco. There are also workshops, games and entertainment for children..
What sports activities does the hotel offer?
As well as a full gym within the spa, the hotel has 2 tennis courts, a table tennis area, a space for beach volleyball and access to non-motorised water sports such as kayaking or snorkelling.
Are there hiking or cycle trails near the hotel?
Yes. The resort is right on the famous Santa María del Mar beach, one of Havana’s loveliest. It is surrounded by mangrove swamps and is perfect for long walks or rides beside the sea.
What can I visit near the hotel?
The resort is just 30 minutes from the centre of Havana, Cuba’s capital. Must-visit landmarks include the National Capitol, the Castle of the Three Holy Kings of Morro, and the Plaza de La Revolución. Be sure to enjoy a stroll along the famous Malecón esplanade and, of course, follow in the footsteps of Hemingway to La Floridita and the Bodeguita del Medio.
Are there discos and bars close to the hotel?
We have our own disco inside the resort, where you can enjoy Caribbean nightlife and Cuban music to the full. Playas del Este has several beach bars - chiringuitos - where you can enjoy a mojito and immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.
What sorts of wellness services does the hotel provide?
The resort has a spa with a sauna, gym and massage cabins.
Can children enter the spa?
Yes, but only to certain areas, such as the gym, and always accompanied by an adult.
Are massages included in the All-Inclusive package?
Although the resort is an All-Inclusive resort and all our guests are welcome to use the spa, wellness treatments are provided on request and involve an extra charge.
