BLAU PRIVILEGE PORTO PETRO BEACH RESORT & SPA is a hotel committed to the environment in all its activities and services.

In order to minimize the negative impacts of touristic activities on the environment and to reach a sustainable tourism, Hotel Blau Porto Petro has committed to make employees, suppliers, clients and society in general aware of the current problems by implementing measures to improve the environment.

Our principal objective is to obtain a high quality travel destination where our clients can enjoy their holidays in a natural environment, thus hotel BLAU PRIVILEGE PORTO PETRO BEACH RESORT & SPA has undertaken to implement and maintain the Eco-Management system based on the UNE-EN ISO 14001:2004 norm of the European Parliament and the (CE) Nº 761/2001 regulation of the European Council of 19 March 2001, which allow organizations to voluntarily affiliate to the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS).

The certification EMAS was awarded on 25 May 2009.
