THE SUCCESSFUL ORGANIC GARDENING BLAU MEDITERRANEO CLUB. SUMMER 2011.
The hotel of our company Blau Hotels & Resorts, Blau Mediterráneo Club (Mallorca), in 2010 started an environmental fashion and created his own organic garden, in whose care involved the hotel's younger guests with the supervision of the Director of the Club, Toni Sampol. The success was so great and the results so positive that this year the Director has decided to continue with this initiative of organic garden.
The garden has all kinds of vegetables and fruits that are used in the preparation of delicious dishes in various restaurants of Blau Mediterráneo Club. The garden, one hundred per cent organic, without pesticides, takes place in the side of the Club where guests enjoy this ecological experience, new for most of them.
In addition, the director, Toni Sampol, with the animation team of Blau Mediterráneo Club organize weekly “The Green Day” to promote environmental awareness of its clients who put their bit for watering crops or collecting products that are ripe.
This initiative of Blau Mediterráneo Club aims to contribute to the awareness of society about the need to protect the Environment, respect Nature and maintain a balanced diet.
